Le Plan d'eau se met au vert, how to reduce our carbon footprint for feeding

GrandAngouleme is organising a public event aiming at informing people about the impact of feeding on greenhouse gases emissions and global warming.

"Le plan d'eau se met au vert" is an annual event (the third one in 2011) focussing on global warming in the framework of the GrandAngoulême action plan against global warming.

About 2000 are supposed to attend the meeting, and about 400 people will join the event by bike, cycling on one of the 10 tracks designed by Velocité de l'Angoumois, an NGO aiming at developing the use of cycles in urban area.

GrandAngouleme gathers 15 municipalities and 105000 inhabitants.
